The work
Going into people's homes across the Diamond Valley and helping with the practical things — the house, the shopping, getting to appointments, meals, and company. Not showering, dressing or medication. Not care that a registered practitioner would provide.
What you need
Everyone on our team holds current:
- a driver licence, and a reliable car
- a Working with Children Check
- a national police check
- first aid
- an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- the right to work in Australia
If you are missing one of these, tell us anyway — some of them we can help you sort out.
What we offer
Standard weekday hours, with after-hours and weekend shifts available for people who want them. Pay rate and shift pattern are discussed when we meet, and set out in writing before you start.
Work close to home, in the suburbs you already live in. A small team, so you are a person here rather than a roster line.
Persian and Arabic speakers
We particularly want to hear from Persian and Arabic speakers. Being able to talk to someone in their own language changes what the visit is worth to them, and it is how this team gets built.
